Blue Archive launches new Abydos Resort event with swimsuits in winter

Blue Archive has launched their latest event for the game where players can get a break from the winter cold.

The new “Abydos Restoration Resort Task Force” event focuses on the Foreclosure Task Force who seem to be enjoying a vacation on an island resort, only for things to go awry.

In keeping in tradition of beach themed events among gacha games, Blue Archive also has released new variants of characters now in swimwear attire.

This includes Nonomi and Wakamo via gacha rolls, while Ayane is available for free for those who participate in the event. This new update also brings along a ton of new features beyond just the event.

New features include the addition of a friend system, the ability to skip PvP battles, and select the starting skills before a battle. The latter was already announced prior.

While the game saw controversy from censorship of one of their CG images early on, Nexon has managed their issues, including splitting the app between adult players and one for general audiences.
